I couldn't view the pic yesterday. Gator he was a nice buck. Really stinks!

Almost shot a doe last night but couldn't confirm it wasn't a BB until out of range.

Finally done with a 2 week work trip. Driving home tomorrow. Gonna spend some quality with the Mrs then I’ll be after em hard.
 
I finish up work in 3 hrs then I'm driving home and sneaking into a tree for as long as I can stay awake.

Elopement road trip was a huge success! Sad to be leaving such a beautiful area today. Got some serious windshield time ahead of us until we’re back in Minnesota.

Scouted my way into a bedding area today on public. Had a nice 8 pointer at 40 yards at last light. Just a little too far of a poke for how dark it was so I let him walk. If he had come in a little closer I would have taken him.

EDIT: Oh I almost forgot! I had a hunter walk up on me this evening. I was curious to see how close he'd get before he saw me. He darn near walked straight up to my tree before I gave him a soft whistle. He jumped out of his skin and then spent the next 30 seconds apologizing like he just ran over my dog :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: good stuff.

Well I struck out on my spot this morning I could see where someone was ground hunting from my tree I decided to leave and go check my cameras oh and go get my tree strap I left last time. Im not gonna be able to hunt this afternoon. To get to my cameras about a 45 minute walk/hike and let me tell you what I have some monsters on camera. Trying to figure out a game plan but hoping this is the year I put a nice buck down.
