The No-Shame Thread

I want a Mazda Miata.

My wife is taller than me with longer arms, she put stuff she knows I want out of my reach just to mess with me, and I rather go do something else or use something else than ask her for help or get a step stool.

2 of my girls first solid food was dog food that they found off the floor learning to crawl.

I want s LWCG .5 stand but dont want to pay for it in regards to contemptment from wife for the rest of my life. Been hoarding my lunch allowance for it, might be able to afford it by 2023. Then come out with a back story about how I found it on craiglist for cheap hoping she buy it.
Why don't you just go ahead and add that you are afraid of your wife to that post :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: Just kidding!

I have gotten fat. Very fat.

Working from home and being able to eat my own cooking 3 times a day has been horrible. Biscuits, eggs, and bacon for breakfast; BBQ sammiches for lunch; and a big ole casserole or deer roast for dinner everyday plus some snacking here and there and the odd midday beer has put the hurt on me. Didn't help that I got a new boat and motor and spent less time paddling/walking and more time just riding.

I gained about 20 lbs since the COVID started. January 1 everything changes. Time to buck up and get back in fighting shape.

Yeah, I'm waiting until the holidays are over to kick my azz.

I'll give myself this, I haven't let the weight slow me down. I've just been more whipped than usual after busting brush and slogging through the mud. I take power naps now after a hard morning.

I have a bada$$ ram 3500 cummins lifted on 35s. But 9 times out of 10 I drive my wife's minivan. Its very fun and comfortable to drive. Plus I feel I have less chance of getting pulled over on late night beer runs...

I have what may be considered an unhealthy obsession with Mossyoak Brand camo.
I often care more about obtaining all the gear I think I need to hunt and fish more then actually hunting and fishing.
I also have Brand loyalty issues, I rarely jump ship from Brands I start with. Example; Moultrie trail cams I have had quite a few issues with various models over the years yet I keep buying them. Counting all that I've owned I just bought my 7th cam 2 months ago, down to 3 cams that work.

I'm with ya. Between the covid and the sympathy weight from my wife's pregnancy, I've never been this big.

I have this problem. I'll spend more of my time tinkering and swapping things out in my setup than I will actually using it. Bought a nice Old Town fishing kayak last Summer. Got it rigged up with a fish finder and everything. Spent months researching different models. Didn't take it out once this year. Same with hunting. Changed my bow sight again and different arrow setup. Also went back and forth on broadheads. I've stuck with my H2 saddle but changed platforms twice. Changed climbing sticks. Haven't hunted nearly as much as I wanted to before season. Still have a couple of weeks left but it'll be a grind. Maybe make it my goal next season to not change anything.

Lol
So your name fits ya huh? Haha. Im all over i lost 34lbs til I actually got covid a few weeks back and now I've gained 10lbs and eating like a madman.
It's showing all right. I've gained 20lbs. but haven't changed pants sizes. Shirts are tighter..... Only clothing that still truly fits are my socks haha

ugh...I have 3 treestands, 2 that was given to me and 1 that I had to have because it was a 'game changer' (Loved my Zune no matter what anyone say). And only 1 has ever seen the woods, now I'm jumping on the saddle and my next obsession are climbing methods...

No one told me having 4 kids would take so much time to make sure they dont kill themselves or each other. (Even now, one daugther is crying because she doesnt like how another one is LOOKING AT HER!)
