I mean this is an article that tells you a list of what it supposedly does. We mainly got one because my wife really wanted it, but I have been the biggest beneficiary.
Doctors, chiropractors and physical therapists use infrared every day in clinics and hospitals because of the benefits of infrared saunas...

I had a pretty nasty mountain bike when I was 24 and the pain in my lower back due to the accident really picked up speed around the time I turned 30. Got progressively worse throughout that decade. To the point I was hobbling out of bed in the morning like an 80 year old man. Couldn’t do any type of hinging exercises and definitely no compression exercises (weighted squats, lunges military press, etc..) or jumping/running. I went to the chiro 3xs/week, hired a personal trainer to focus on unique exercises to work around my limitations, went to physical therapy...was continuing to get worse.
Had no idea this sauna was going to help me, but I would’ve paid double or triple what I did to feel like I do now (turning 40 in two weeks) than I did at any point in my 30s. I think it helped alleviate the arthritis that was forming in my lower back.
We got a 3 person MPulse from Sunlighten and I think it’s a bit overkill size-wise. 2 person would be plenty big enough. Expensive, but well worth it for my specific situation.
Disclaimer: I will say Sunlighten’s customer service is not fantastic for how much you are spending.
