Good price on a Singer 201 if your looking for one.

Booneville, MS Consew for $125

This seems like too good of a deal. Do y’all see anything obvious here that I’m missing. The lady just posted it an hour ago.

You should be in the car already and on your way to get it.

Someone’s already on the way. I hope it’s not one of y’all!

She’s supposed to let me know if this first person doesn’t buy it. We’ll see.

Ok, I found out my wife still has Facebook so if y’all post one nearby I can get her to message the people for me.

So far I’ve got by with telling my wife I’m going to get another sewing machine as opposed to asking her. While she’s not always thrilled about it I don’t get too many complaints. I’ve now got three industrial machines and one serger in my basement.

I told mine she can help me find an old model that needs a little TLC or I’ll be buying a brand new one for around a grand. Needless to say she’s helping in my search for a used one now haha!

Oh. That sewing machine? I've had that one a while and just got it out to test it. A while is a about one day and I am testing it.

Sounds perfect. Lol. I’m still looking for a deal. I have everything I’d ever need. However, I’m certainly up to purchasing another if the price is right and it’s a step up from what I have or if it’s just a really good deal. I’ve been a hair too slow on picking up a few nice compound feed industrials for under $200 in the last couple of months. None of them did anything that what I have now won’t do but I’m not going to pass up any at that good of a price.

I passed up a Singer 211G156 with reverse last year just north of me for $250. It sat there for a couple weeks while I convinced myself I did not need it. I should have bought it.

Asking advice. Which would you choose?

singer 111w100
singer 31-15
Pfaff industrial ( model currently unknown)

Both are industrial model but the 31-15 i believe is a drop or single feed machine and the 111w models (not all but some) are compound feed machines (walking dog). Basically one feeds fabric just using the bottom plate moving the teeth, the other moves using a walking motion of the foot as well as the bottom teeth. Triple feed does both plus the needle moves with one of the dogs. My understanding is the 111ws are the OGs and everyone else copied this style of machine.

looks like the 111w can take some heavier thread as well? Not sure on the lift of the 111w. You’ll find guys on leather forums talking about the 111w because they can do thick material.

mom personally looking for a 111w or 211 unless someone has a good reason to change my mind. Hopefully we can both learn together.
