Actually....depending on size, hard to tell in pic, it may be a 66.
I checked the image compared to my, yet refurbished or sold, 66.
It looks a little different. Mine is a 1941 model 66 I believe.

Im almost positive....its a 66k. The top of the singer badge is level with the stitch thumb screw. @sojourner your 66 looks different becuase it has the lever for stitch length adjustment.I checked the image compared to my, yet refurbished or sold, 66.

If its truly in good shape, and stitching well, Id take a gamble for $200 in a second.Found a good condition Singer 111W155 for $200 with clutch motor and table. Sounds like a great deal to me? What say yall?
yea, it's 2.5 hrs away though so I'll try to get more information on it. If they tell me the clutch motor is shot even better. Maybe they'll sell me just the machine. If its truly in good shape, and stitching well, Id take a gamble for $200 in a second.
I discovered that I can search facebook marketplace without being a member. There are so many sewing machines one here it is unreal. Not a ton of industrial machines, but a few.
That’s where I found my seiko machine some good deals can be found there.

Well she’s mine now!Well, I guess I’m spending my 4th of July driving 2.5 hrs to look at a sewing machine. The guy selling it is selling it for his friend’s family after his friend passed away. He said his friend used to it to sew boat upolstrey for a small business he had. The guy himself doesn’t know much about the machine or the shape it’s in. It doesn’t look bad from the pictures. I figured I’d take some thread and some fabric to hand crank through just to see what general shape it’s in. If it’s siezed or binding or doesn’t feel smooth I’ll probably not get it. Anything close to just needing a good cleaning I’ll probably buy it. It’s a 111w155 so I believe it doesn’t have reverse. Anything else y’all can think of to look out for?
CongratsWell she’s mine now!
Looks like a 4452 I have that model it works fairly well sometimes I need to help it through the thick stuff. Mine will sew through 6 layers of 500d and two layers of webbing at the same time. I have an old singer also. This is listed in my area for $50. I’m not looking to use it to all day everyday, but would like to be able to modify and possibly one day make my own saddles. However I know nothing about sewing or sewing machines. Any thoughts on whatever model this is?
