The width would be the turn off there.Might as well be carrying an alpha with the total vertical profile.....

So a question...if youre carrying something that long, if its wider than yoout shoulders does it matter? The width would be the turn off there.
I guess we’ll find out this fall. This Helo, and the Hush are both inside my shoulders. Hopefully that helps. So a question...if youre carrying something that long, if its wider than yoout shoulders does it matter?
My Helo, bare with no straps or seat weighed 8.6#. Straps and seat put me at 9.4#I weighed some Lone Wolfs today, stands only, no cushions or straps. on my scales
LW 8.5 weighed 8.3 lbs.
5 year oldd Assualt II weighed 10.2 lbs.
1st gen. Alpha weighed 12.2 lbs
The Alpha had the smallest seat. I would try it on the Helo but I'm not sure it will work as it doesent have a leveler plate.
My windwalker is under 6 with strap. Not comparing apples to apples here...just saying I think they could have done better...I weighed some Lone Wolfs today, stands only, no cushions or straps. on my scales

I really don’t see why the seat has to be so big. They could find a way to shave weight right there. My windwalker is under 6 with strap. Not comparing apples to apples here...just saying I think they could have done better...

And certainly not apples to apples. The lack of level on that stands eliminates it from consideration for me
I’m considering itJust cut a few rungs out of the seat structure

I don’t know that they will sell them separate. Might be worth a try but at what cost?Seems like they didn’t want to spend the money on a new seat mold. Message the beast see if they will sell a beast seat.
He's probably one of the tallest 5 dudes on here. But he's also the 3rd pickiest...I don’t understand that argument. Are you only 3 feet tall?

Love ya VT!
That's not my point...I'm like 6'4". Ever buy a backpacking pack? A good one....Like a Dana designs. MR, osprey? Hell any well designed pack? None of them allow the load to go more than maybe 2" past your waist belt. There's a reason for that. Efficiency and maneuverability being 2 of them. A heavier stand correctly distributed over your back will cary "lighter" than a lighter one which sits low. Now a light stand that sits high...feels like nothing...I don’t understand that argument. Are you only 3 feet tall?
Are you guys honestly finding these cast / machined seats more comfortable than a properly fit saddle?
