New Aerohunter saddle?

Is it removable, I know everything is removable. But you know what I mean.
If they are using the two Austri alpine buckles as the adjustable feature to attach the webbing then you most definitely can remove it. That would leave the two austri alpine buckles on one side and the loop on the other. You could tie your rope into them instead of the webbing.

I like the small LB loop. I think that’s a feature I’ll try on my next saddle build.

It appears they’re using this combo in their lineman’s belt which means it is removable. This is how the transformer makes its legs straps removable as well. Once removed you would be left with the part that is sewn to the saddle which would be the top buckle shown below.57AB60EE-1D77-468B-8097-C83C2FFB7136.jpeg

So you can replace the lineman’s belt then? If so, that makes me feel a little better.

I worry that the OG of modern saddles, with a reputation for being "bombproof", made the decision to take there system from ~24kn to 15kn. That tether is appealing and I am sure a lot of people would choose to run a 15kn tether but for Aerohunter to bless it for a new guy? Like why take on that liability??

I think a MBS of 3300 lbs is plenty for a static load of 200-300 lbs. They are pretty clear that it is a work positioning device and they even say so. All saddles are work positioning devices. You shouldn’t be falling on your tether in normal use so it’s going to pretty hard to generate enough force to break it if using as intended. That’s also a factor of safety of about 11 for 300 lb static load.

I have the Flex in Predator camo a Cruzr XC a Treesuit and a Guido's Web.
I sold my Kestrel and just bought a Eberhart Signature Series saddle before hunting season started. I haven't used anything since I bought the ESS . It's the most comfortable saddle I have ever used. I probably will switch to my Flex come late season. The Shrike looks like a nice saddle but I'll wait and see how some of the guys who buy it like it and give so feed back.

An integrated webbing lineman's belt - who's asking for this? Who's swapping out their current lineman's ropes for webbing belt? I'm so confused on how this came to be an option. For everyone saying that you can cut it off or remove it, it doesn't look like there's two lineman's loops. There's only one with AA buckle on the other side. I have the original kestrel and have been thinking about upgrading the last 2 seasons to a newer model but w/ the Merlin and now this, I think I'm going to wait to see what they do next year.

More photos and a review ASAP! I emailed them to see what turn around time was atm.
I spoke to Debbie yesterday evening & asked about the “in stock” she said there is some type of final assembly required before packing/ shipping but there was a good bit of stock for the initial release ( should ship in a week or less) we’ll see……

Anyone know if the linemen’s belt is replaceable. Mine gets used a lot, so when i feel it’s worn out, I want to replace it.

Looks like it’s held on by one of those triglide buckles. so yes..

It looks like the buckle is sewn on but the lineman's belt would be replaceable.

This is personal preference but I don't like that it only comes off the right side of the saddle and hooks on the left. I had 2 shoulder surgeries and have less mobility with my left side so I have been having it come off my left hip and hook on the right for about 12 years now lol. Would be nice if that was an option or switchable somehow.
