No failure at all and welcome to the site. I was just letting you know we already found your work and it opened a lot of eyes in this thread. You are among the lucky few who have complete replacement.
 
Thanks for the welcome! It’s funny, when I had the issue I searched and found a couple of threads here. Wasn’t until this morning I though “hey, I bet it might help to share this back there”

Did they sell out maybe?

Matt Garris takes a walkabout at Harrisburg (pretty fun video) and drops by Tethrd amongst others and they look like they've got boxes of Skeletors. Maybe those have the updated standoffs?
 
Great video and good to see the feedback on the video from G2. Makes you look at them twice instead of writing them off for the failures.

I agree the video is very complimentary. Nice job @Krumpf and thanks for sharing the info.

@CooterBrown, what's your take on G2s comments? Maybe I'm not seeing what you do.

I think if they replace the standoffs like they did in this case, nobody is going to write them off. They're pretty nice stcks. Is that how it's going down now? Call them for full replacement?
 
He didn’t, and I don’t take it that way, although I appreciate you guys looking out for me! I asked him for advice on how long to make the bury when I was working on this and sent a video after I finished showing him what I came up with.

He really liked the design and asked if I would be cool with him selling a kit that includes all the components to make the aiders and we (Matt, Greg and I) thought it was a great idea. Nothing wrong with helping get this stuff in people’s hands. The packaging will include our info and have a link to our instructional video.

it’s actually funny, we were locked out of our Instagram account because of a weird Facebook thing that happened last week so we had to start over yesterday (new handle is coveringground_hunting). We’re going to have a giveaway in collab with the amsteel guy sometime this week to try and help jumpstart things again.
 
To be clear, when he posted that video we hadn’t restarts our Instagram yet, so he couldn’t have tagged us if he wanted to

I just heard him say an idea he came up with. No mention of you or anyone else. If you’re happy that’s all that matters. Just seemed like he could have given you some credit.

Yes I recall him saying he cam up with it in the video. It has since been changed… I am sure people pointed it out…lol
 
Would anyone be able to post the aider idea being mentioned to this forum, maybe a link? I don't have any social media and would like to know what y'all are talking about.
