Very rarely do they come up for sale. Seen one or two in our classifies in the last year. They are an amazing pack though. Well thought out and designed for people around trees. I got mine used at a st Jude’s auction on another trad site. They were discontinued. Where can you find them now?
Does anyone have a pic of a MR Pop Up 18 loaded out? This seems like a perfect early season pack, don't know why they discontinued it.
@SOLOhunter can you post or send me a photo or two of your X2 all packed up. I also use the XL and 4 sticks. Just wanna see how you do it.Last season I picked up an x2 which has been a dream to use. I keep lineman belt and other small lines in one wing and my repel/tether in the other. The repel had a quick link on it which sits right at the top of the pack which allows me to pull out just a small section when needed and when I am ready to pack it up for the night I just open the wing and let it drop. Holds my predator xl and 4 sticks very well. It will be even better this season with just one stick and the platform.
I can't imagine you won't like it. Just be patient, it will take a while to ship due to their relocation to Wyoming. After two years of wanting one I finally ordered Kifaru duplex-lite frame with a Stryker XL. Hopefully this will be be the perfect pack for this season. I have tried so many over the years.

I usually just pack mine in when I’m using a frame pack. Idk if It would be an issue wearing the saddle in. I’ll have to try itEveryone that is using a frame pack, are you packing your saddle in or do you wear it in? I would think with the waist belt it might be difficult to wear the saddle in.
Most of the time I wear mine in. It can be an issue and it creates some additional adjusting you need to do but I make it work. Usually to walk out I'll pack the saddle. I just want to get to the tree and start climbing. That changes in late season though when I'm packing my outer layers in.Everyone that is using a frame pack, are you packing your saddle in or do you wear it in? I wear a 2 panel and the clips that hold the panels together are where I encounter my issues. Otherwise, I'd agree.I wear my saddle. The waist belt of the saddle is really no different than a pants belt under your pack.
