New Gear Release 2022!

Wow , these companies cut it close to opening day.
I’d be interested in hearing about the Battle Axe.
Probably the closest I’ve seen to a stand-alone UP. The UP is a great size for me.

Maybe this has been covered, maybe not.

$135…..ouch!

If it dosent remove easily from the stand I would not want that hanging off the bottom of the stand. Better off with a good pack.

No idea nor care to be honest. My walks last year were frequently 2 hrs 1 way, not including the amount of time I spend wandering once I get to my general area to find the right tree with the best sign. This will pay for itself quickly
U pairing it with the .5?

So….any word on those sticks from Latitude or Cruzr?
Asking for a friend

Cruzr sticks were pushed back till December. Latitudes had a setback with no set timeline. Sounds like they had a pretty significant issue during testing and the need to reengineer. You won’t see either one before this season.

I guess we'll find out, lol. Should be some reviews forthcoming thanks to your share.

Truthfully, I'm not entirely happy with my LWCG suspension. A lumbar pad would improve the belt quite a bit imo. As well as a forward draw waist belt (which can be accomplished DIY I believe). An upper back contact relief pad would be a bonus.

I like the TX5 concept here, and am really surprised this low hanging fruit hasn't been picked by companies that specialize in this arena. But I'm not completely sold on the design either.

Dear Kifaru....

Im not 100% sold on it either. But no matter the adjustments I made to the lwcg system I couldn't get it dialed in just right. Either too much weight was leaning 1 way towards the shoulders or waist. I also found the straps loosen up over the course of walking a couple miles, at least on mine.

Thank you, guess now I can spend that $ I was setting aside on something else I don’t need

I put these on a much heavier climber a few years back and I can say the difference was night and day
