So I just got hooked up with a new spot not far from my house. A fella from my church invited me to hunt his farm that nobody else is hunting. It's approximately 40 acres of corn surrounded by a line of mature trees. Beyond the trees are some more corn fields and small patches of woods.
I got to scout it today. I noticed some deer tracks around the honey locust trees. The hedge around the field is pretty thick. I think my best bet will be to set up by the drainage ditches that connect the fields.
Any tips for hunting over standing corn? I've never done this before.
