you should have robbed a bank before shaving.....It would have been the perfect crime!!!LOL
Did you do away with the leg straps?i kind of wish I wore a suit every day to work sometimes. Had to shave to do some work in a plant. And I saw the back of my head on a trail cam picture and noted there’s more bald than is worth trying to deny. So off it all came.
Did you do away with the leg straps?
Thanks for the video. The things that helped me:
1) Your methodical approach that ultimately leads to getting to the tree and climbing ASAP. I feel like no matter the method of going up the tree, this is probably the biggest thing that makes the difference. It's obvious you've put time in coming up with a system that works for you. Proper planning prevents piss poor performance.
2) The way that the pack is attached at the four corners, easy and secure.
3) Rappel rope storage method. I've actually struggled with where to put my canyon. This might be the ticket.
4) I'm super skinny and the oem belt isn't great for me. I love that pack belt, looks like a huge improvement.
How do you carry your weapon? If you decide to one stick, do you have a way to attach stick to pack and remove without having to remove pack at the tree?
Idk if anyone else has said this before but I've been keeping my 45ft oplux in a pouch tucked in the back of the backrest. I have my quicklink on the d-loop of my right shoulder strap w my hitch and biner connected to my right LB loop soni can use it to pass limbs (not 1sticking obviously). When I rap down, it feeds out just fine.
I have been hanging more and more gear in the back ran over the top with a piece of paracord. I just pull it to me if I need it.
Initially I was trying to avoid that bc I felt like my profile was already ridiculously huge but I've accepted with the hybrid, I'm just going to require more cover or a higher setup. I'm ok with that.
I am trying to find a better way to have my gun at the ready when I'm not holding it. Its alot of movement to get it off a gear hook if one gets on me fast. My initial thoughts are a loop of something on my scope and hang it off the bridge loop concoction. Anyone find a better solution for your gun?

Made my 2nd hunt in mine this morning. Yesterday was ok, good news is i can shoot really well out this thing. Smoked 2 hogs. This morning was terrible, farther walk and different tree. It was a tight spot getting into tree because of back cover and seemed the Jx3 kept snagging everything. Cant seem to get any kind of organization in this thing. Trying going packless and that was a nightmare. I hate stuff in my pants pockets when walking that far.
The bridge is also aggravating, i dont like it just hanging or swinging around.
I also dont feel very safe in this thing in the dark using the linesman belt. In my Phantom i feel nice and secure but this thing makes me feel unbalanced if that makes sense. Dont know how much longer i will kerp trying it. Like the comfort but everything else not so much at this point.

Pics?Got a spot fixed to attach my Gripr that holds my WE Stepps between the seat and frame. I can unclip it without taking the pack off and then hang it from the side of the Hybrid to go up the tree. Was also able to use the Molle clips on my Tethrd dump pouches to put one on each side. Can reach my lineman’s, tether, and ROS without taking the pack off as well.
Really liking this saddle.

Wait did you say baby on the way??? Congrats!!!!If you have a gen 1 hybrid. And you want it to be a meat hauler. Stope doing anything else, buy an exo k3 belt and shoulder harness.
I bought the entire k3 4800 pack system, and am selling the popup and kifaru systems. I can only afford one with a baby on the way. Space mostly.
Melted 3 holes in the k3 belt, drilled 3 holes in molle frame. Done.
Have to figure out how to get lineman’s belt, and leg straps incorporated. Have some ideas.
But my hybrid now can’t be beat in terms of load carrying. The DIY stuff I did worked good. This works great. Simple. Then, I can just unscrew 3 nylock nuts and reattach to the exo pack.
