If you dont hunt from the side, where do you put the ottoman? Or does that go with a pacseat, I cant keep 'em straight. It's funny the only "from the side" images you include are the JX3 pics.

Ya, I am a funny guy, LOL.It's funny the only "from the side" images you include are the JX3 pics.
Seriously, if a hunter is tight to the tree, no sky showing, IMO, you become the tree. If you are in a saddle leaning or in a tree stand with sky showing between you and the tree you may get picked unless you are using ASAT or Preditor camo. The same issue with the JX3, no place to hide. This is just my opinion. Each hunter will decide for them self what is best for them. It's funny the only "from the side" images you include are the JX3 pics.

Really, the only one stupid enough to do the second picture is Greg.
Not sure what you are asking.Do you pull your platform up vertical with the tree or do you keep it perpendicular to the tree?
Not sure what you are asking.
My platform is in my pack, I climb up attach my gear strap, hang my pack, then remove my platform and hang it.

Read post 43.Referencing When you are 1 with the tree.
Mr Plebe, no way I can argue with you, you always confuse the conversation with the facts, LOL.To be fair, there are several other saddlehunting glory poses like that but he likely pioneered it. Advertising, lol.
Here's one from the saddlemaster. Not really tighter to the tree than the John R. JX3 image. Just depends on how the set up is.
I certainly don't think the JX3 is perfect either. While your photographic presentation was good for a sly chuckle, it does detract from the captivating topic of padded underpants, lol.
But for real, a padded saddle works.
Anyway, here's JE.

What do you recommend for bike seats that have more cushion? The seat on this trek bike is clearly made for fast and hard, not slow and sitting for a long ride. Basically, it hurts my tailbone.
Or let's get a list of people going, chip in 10 bucks and buy one together, pass it around and then give it away at the end of something. Out this debate to rest/ignite it further! I'm in for 10.For you hard bottomed JX3 hybrid folks who keep trying to get me to ditch my soft saddle because you think a hybrid is better…
... Buy me one with your money and I'll try it.
