What about the Maverick? Won't mention the Korean brand...

April 2, Subaru might be releasing a new Baja..
I know, right…..how could “I” forget about the Ford offering….(considered changing my name when it came out! LOL.)

Got the side plate holes and made some capped pipes to go on either side of the plates under the head lights. If all goes well this afternoon I maybe get some pieces tacked together. I need to stick the winch cradle up on there again and decide if I want to modify it a little or just say screw it and go with it how it is. I could trim a little fat off of it to knock some weight off...maybe I'll leave it up to u guysScreenshot_20230329-131548~2.png

I’d say if you have the tools to trim some then do so. Worst that could happen is… well I’m not sure lol

I got the pipes cut for under the lights and I'll shape them and tack this afternoon. Since the winch cradle is offset and I got lots of dead space on the driver side of the bumper I think I'm gonna add an expanded metal standing platform so I have a nice spot to stand when working in the engine bay.

I thought about adding fancy bent/radius tubes but I'm kinda going for the more utilitarian/tractor looks so I stay with easy straight lines

I'd put the platform on both sides, won't be as roomy on the passenger side but may very well come in handy when your stretched out trying to reach the one bolt in the way back....

That's what big wide tires are for.... Hehehe

I'll look at it and see but it's a little narrow on passenger side and I'm not sure if it worth it to have something on that side or not. I was thinking that I might do the air manifold there thats tied into the air tank for filling tires. I haven't decided how to design that yet so I want to leave that area open for right now but I can always add stuff later. I was thinking of keeping the plumbing inside the winch cradle area nice, nice and protected, and make a penetration and mount the gauge and quick connect fitting to the side of the cradle box

That's a really good idea, it would have come in handy on some of my old trucks.

You could also put a pedestal seat from a bass boat on the platform, just to see the confused looks from other motorists.
