If I heard correctly, it’s a 150 grain. Good offering from them. Sure wish I could get a black hornet in a solid too.

Mystery Ranch has some new packs. Can’t find them on their own website. Saw a presale for some on GO hunt

I don't buy much equipment these days, but I had need for a new quiver, so I bought one of these. Disclaimer: Having used about 20 different quivers through the years, I am an admitted Tight Spot fan boy.

This thing comes as close to a two-piece quiver as a removable quiver can. It's lightweight and adjustable to the point that it can sit VERY tight to the bow. It also has a great off-bow hanging hook. I give it 5 stars, YMMV.

Some of those new packs look VERY interesting.

I didn't see a lot of change. The Metcalf comes in 3 sizes now and the Extra height on the frame and adjustable load lifters will probably be nice but they went back to the 3 piece belt which seems like a step back to me. If I was looking at a Metcalf right now I would be tempted to save the coin and buy the old version at 40% off.

Kifaru: "We saw what Exo did and realized all our molle and buckles aren't that cool after all."

Lol.

No doubt it’s a response to EXO’s lightweightness. But what Kifaru lacks in simplicity, EXO lacks in modularity and variety.

Hopefully the new Kifaru designs will strike a balance, and hit on some whitetail specific bags. I’d love to see that from EXO too, but allegedly they think the current lineup can do it all.

I haven’t logged time with my K4, but so far the Kifaru Duplex belt is hands down better for me. I see Aaron’s belt there has squadron MOLLE. So it’ll be interesting to see what’s really changed vs. what’s just cosmetics.

You said it not me. Or… let’s do less work with laser cut molle and charge more….

On a positive note, Kifaru has been running sales on some of the stitched MOLLE packs and accessories, and have a decent closeout sale going right now on select items.

I was listening to an Exo podcast with listener questions. One listener asked the question about how much they thought about whitetail hunting when designing the K4. I believe Steve's answer was something like "Exactly 0". I thought it was refreshingly honest. lol.

The frame seems to be quite a bit lighter, if I’m interpreting the catalog correctly. There’s almost a pound difference from the current Metcalf (4335 cui) and the Metcalf 75(4575 cui).

I forgot about the frame weight. I think I either read or heard in Trail's review 12 ounces difference in the frame. The rest might be in the bag itself.

I think I am mostly disappointed in the change back to the 3 piece belt, although Trail said it's just as comfortable. I really liked the 5 piece belt.
