    9mm and the Ropeman 1 Safe?

    I've heard the Ropeman 1 is rated for 10mm+ but I swear I've seen/heard people talking about using it with 9mm as well. I only ask since there seems to be a lot of negative feedback on the Ropeman 2 tearing up the rope with its teeth.

    so you are just using your rappel line? No separate tether? I like the idea since that's just less weight you'd have to hike in, but how do you feel it affects safety vs having a separate tether?
