    Shooting Barebow

My Switchback is still fairly long enough to draw with fingers I believe. I draw it sometimes with my bare fingers at home just practicing form. I have yet to shoot an arrow with my fingers from it, but I don't think it should be an issue. You mentioned the flipper rest...I am currently rocking...

    Shooting Barebow

Hey guys, I am wondering how many folks on here shoot a compound bow, but with no sights and with fingers like a trad bow? I shoot a Mathews Switchback and have for the last few years, but I grew up shooting traditional with a recurve to learn my archery basics. As I have started to use my...

Found the perfect climbing harness for saddle hunting

Is the Summit harness a full body safety harness? Or is it just around the waist like a RC harness?

    What rifle is everyone using?

I use a Ruger American Predator in .308 Win during the rifle season here in TN. I am also known to use a tang-safety model Ruger M77 Mk II in .270 Win. Big fan of the Ruger company. They know how to make a great rifle. As for muzzleloading, I use a Traditions Pursuit Ultralite in .50 caliber.

    Sewing Resources and Information

Any consensus on what may be the best newer model of Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine to purchase (Amazon link??) for the up and coming DIY saddle guy? It was mentioned in the OP that @g2outdoors has a newer model he uses. Maybe he can tell me which is the best machine and needle for our purposes?

Do any of you rely on Solunar or Moonguide?

I use the moon quite frequently, but I don't let it dictate my entire hunt. I still hunt regardless of the moon's activity, simply because animals live in the woods and I won't see them if I'm not there. Period. But let me put it this way: I have found over the years that wild animals will move...

    Simple SRT video

How easy is it to throw your throw line up 20-30' and bypass limbs to get to a desired height? This method has me thinking...looks really cool but I wanna be sure I can get to where I need before I commit any cash to these ascenders/belay devices
