    Strap for ring of steps

    i was tired of them spinning i stitched some scrap leather strips to the strap on both sides.. made simple spacers between the steps that are adjustable and ran em through obviously you cant put the leather portion in the ratchet but its pretty darn sturdy and seems to lock them down a TON...

    I have the kilo 2000 as well its awesome! I also researched tons. I also have a cheap Walmart halo that I use for bow hunting now but had bought it as a backup( Dont mind beating the crap out of it in swamps etc) clarity is good it is very accurate and has taken several animals

    Kitchen aid mixer grinder attachment had it for ages and my grandparents still have their original one. Works great and made well.

    Tethrd Rope + Hand Climber: BEWARE!

    If you dont feel comfortable doing a splice you can always choose your rope from wesspur and have iron street do the splices they do some of the finest work around.(you may pay more but the craftsmanship and peace of mind is worth it in my book.

    You use a regular lineman strap over the obstacle climb up and put the bucksqueeze or whatever friction device you are using above the obstacle readjust and continue on!

    We are no longer allowed to free climb or hitchhike. we have to use buck squeeze or similar fall protection. Makes it safe but sometimes it makes climbing a nightmare..

    Proper foot wear for back country

    only thing that ive found works for me my feet stay warmer with just one good pair of socks and the scarpas then they do in any of my pac boots guess its cause my feet sweat like crazy
