    Aerolite stick cut down?

Did you cut the bottom off? Do you like the way they turned out? I am afraid it won't be worth the trouble

    Aerolite stick cut down?

I have a set of the old Muddy Aerolite climbing sticks. Long, 3 double flip up steps. Nice sticks, but heavy and awkward to pack in or carry in. Has anyone cut these down? I am not experienced with cutting down sticks and am not sure if it would even be worth doing to these.

    Harbor Freight take off Amsteel

I have purchased and used the HF ATV winch rope. I have made daisy chains for all my sticks and used them all last season. Love it! I also made a whoopie to try, but wasn't for me. I am 6'3" and 270. I don't worry one bit about using it. I bought mine on sale, so it was cheaper than any...

Cam over vs seat style platform

I knew it was a terrible description when I posted it. You cracked me up! I saw a picture of a guy's DIY platform with 2 straps. The bottom strap was angled up, like a climbing stick that is set into the tree. The cam over strap (at the top attached to the platform) was actually angled down...

Cam over vs seat style platform

I have basically the same DIY platform as you made. Even with ratchet straps there was some movement. I did a cam over strap using the seat to do the cam. I put the cam cheap on the bank corners of the seat. Still have a ratchet on the bottom, but I angle the strap up on the back of the tree...

    Amsteel Daisy Chain Tether?

Abrasion resistance- I bought a winch rope for making daisy chains and such. It had a protective sheath, a long one. I saved mine, wondering what I could use it for. It was 3/16 in amsteel. Be great for this application.

    Deer carcass dissection video- HELP!

A guy on here had a thread about the shot he made on his really nice buck. Someone put a video in that thread with a guy dissecting a deer carcass showing all the bones and organs. Now, I cannot find that thread at all!! HELP! I didn't get to finish the video and really want to!!

Simple tweak made my Tethrd Mantis more comfortable

Huh...I may have to give that a try! I wear mine in every time and have forgotten it was on a few times back at the vehicle. Hard to get hunting pants off when my saddle is on!

    Coozie Tether Hardware Cover

    A different whoopie

Interesting! I will need a video to get it done right though. I made a whoopie last night and it worked easy better than I thought. Except for that huge loop...

    Accessory Holder for tree?

I love my HME strap too. The strap is about a mile long so I'm thinking of cutting some of to make it easier to attach.

Noisy ammo dump pouches - problem solved

I bought a couple surplus ammo pouches to hold my ropes. They worked great, but the cordura was very noisy. I have some extra camo fleece laying around, so I hot glued a fleece cover over the cordura. Worked awesome! Super stealthy now!
