    SRT..... rappelling device of Choice.

That's how I do mine. At the most you drop an inch or so as the rope tightens. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    SRT..... rappelling device of Choice.

I let go of the tag line, but before I do I tie a Safety stop knot so it only can release and drop a few inches. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I use a GriGri2 and I'm happy with it. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    SRT noise reduction

That's probably a better idea as it never comes off the ascender. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    SRT noise reduction

Dude, I have no clue why I didn't think of this! Great idea! Guess I know what I will be making tonight! I will also use one for my foot loop connection to my hand ascender. Both will be made of 1/8 amsteel though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

One sticking/reppeling with sewn on webbing bridge

So I run an amsteel bridge on my Flex and found that I still wanted something closer for SRT and repelling. I ended up making two 6 inch locked brummel continuous loops and girth hitch them around the bridge loops which acts as an extension of the existing loops. I use a carabiner through both...

    One sticking/rappelling

Hey bud, I'm in Mont Belvieu and I SRT and have tried the one stick method with my heliums w/ rope mod. If you want we can schedule a day to meetup and try my gear if you want. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    First SRT climbs

I hunt public land and I will go out end of August to beginning of September and begin scouting. This is when I will put up set lines.

    First SRT climbs

This is where preset lines are valuable. If you know where you're going to hunt, go preseason and set up set lines. When you get there to hunt, you tie your climbing line to the set line and pull it up and around. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    First SRT climbs

Never used that one. I use a cheap $20 one from Amazon as it's not life critical if it fails. So far, almost a year of use (climb recreational as well) with no issues. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

    First SRT climbs

As Aaron already mentioned, a hand ascender with foot loop will make climbing a cinch. I bought full length hawk sticks last year and I still prefer SRT over sticks even with the hassle of a throw line. Put out preset lines and you don't even have to worry about that! Sent from my SM-N960U...
