There’s always next year I suppose. ;)
 
Honestly, I’ll trade gear for days afield. Way harder for me to get the latter. So many years hedging bets on a day or two. Some whence I could hunt. Failed and succeeded either way, but know for certain time is the most valuable currency.

In place of new gear purchases I propose you spend an extra XX number of days in the woods this post season scouting. This will bring you more success next fall than your next purchase.

*Replacement items like arrows, broadheads, strings, new boots for the ones that leak are permitted, etc.

Already failed, I bought a used bow on the classifieds here to replace the old bow I dropped from a tree.
