I started with a Yost tab with cordovan face and a suede layer for comfort, which I really like. However, this year I'm going be putting a Saunders Fab Tab through it's paces. It was recommended to me by a friend who has used them for years because it's very durable and the string comes off it very cleanly. I like the durability, modularity, and the fact that it is unaffected by moisture. I also really like the fact that the finger loop is very low profile, unlike the shock cord with bulky cord lock on the Yost, which hangs up on my pocket when I'm trying to keep my hands warm late season. I've only done a little shooting so far with it but it has felt great so far, and may well end up being my go-to long term.
I have shot several gloves and just never found one that felt good to me, although I can see the appeal.
