Deerskin/goatskin damascus-style glove. I can also shoot without it (for a "short" period), or with my leather hunting gloves. My fingers used to have "trad" callouses, but no more lol.

I think that I maybe totally screwed up after reading through some of these reply's.
I am shooting 3 under with a glove and attempting to do it instinctively.
Sounds like I am back akwards on all accounts.
It is dang frustrating when you don't know what you don't know. I need a "Tad for Dummies" book.
Mind sharing a picture? My local archery shop has aluminum plate tabs by Decut for $14.
I bought one to try.
Worth the money in my opinion. It has a little hump in the palm side that can be modified if needed.
I make my own and the tapped plate with screws is worth it to me.
You can replace hide to your liking after you get some use from the stock leather.
I would ask to buy one from you to try but that would go against the challenge you issued. LolI never understood the function of the plate on a tab. Can someone explain?
Here are a couple of mine. All cut from old shoe leather. Add a dot of velcro to the back of the tab and another dot to the belly of the riser so you never misplace your tab.
