Who the heck is making Amsteel tethers and Amsteel prussic combos and selling them on FB???

I agree. As i stated i ordered a cruzr adjustable amsteel bridge that my be changed into a some sort of gear hanger down the road and stay with standard rope as my adjustable bridge. As i diver i completely understand knowing your equipment, redundancy and having a plan. 30 feet deep or 30 ft...

Who the heck is making Amsteel tethers and Amsteel prussic combos and selling them on FB???

I'm here because I've replaced the bridge on my mantis with a secondary 11mm spliced lineman's rope girth hitched on one side with a prusik on the other and it worked great, (never adjusted under any load but i do adjust longer when im sitting shorter when im leaning) Just purchased a new...

Who the heck is making Amsteel tethers and Amsteel prussic combos and selling them on FB???

I cant speak for everyone obviously but when adjusting any bridge, amsteel or not ive never adjusted under any load or tension to increase any friction or burn of the material and don't believe these are intended to be adjusted that way.

Wild Edge Climb 7 ft. Per Step

I’m currently using 3-4 wild edge steps and a 5 step petzl aider , little bit of a learning curve but overall light weight and fast . Key is to make sure your first step is back towards your heel and your toe is pushing out from the tree. Can easily get 20-27 feet.

    Tethrd Menace First Sit

Yeah I never really saw anything either until I was on their sight to get a predator pack. After getting it it’s pretty decent saddle for the money . Hard to find anything of quality cheaper than that now a-days . With a few diy changes I think it will be a super comfortable.

    Tethrd Menace First Sit

Gotcha lol , anyway Tethrd is gonna be axing the mantis . I think the menace is going to fill a void from AH axing the kestrel . Similar in design .

    Tethrd Menace First Sit

There isn’t much angle to the menace at all, that’s why I believe it doesn’t tend to ride up like the mantis. If you were mainly a leaner I feel it would put more pressure on the back of your legs compared to the phantom.

    Tethrd Menace First Sit

Just got the new Tethrd menace in the mail yesterday and figured I would do a review or my thoughts on it since I couldn't find much feed back on it. To start I am 5'08" 145lbs so not a big guy but I consider myself a sitter. I've hunted out of the mantis since 2018 and I did like mantis only...
