    Cruzr Seeker / Tethrd Pack

what is your overall pack setup? I've struggled to find something perfect for saddle hunting, but have been using a sling pack with the Seeker strapped to that, while carrying my sticks and bow. Was contemplating using the Predator XL pack as the main pack with a couple of molle pouches...

    Cruzr Seeker / Tethrd Pack

Has anyone tried to use a Tethrd Predator Pack to carry their Cruzr Seeker Platform?

    Platform Attachment

I decided to go with the trucker's hitch and love it. Very simple and my platform was possibly tighter than with the buckle strap.

    Talk me into a ROS

Possibly a dumb question, but do you add the steps to the platform strap or keep them completely separate? Do they still work with an amsteel daisy chain attachment?

    Platform Attachment

I'm sure there are many others, but you can try - https://www.bullmanoutdoors.com/product/amsteel-blue-black-color-only/. You need to daisy chain it yourself. Or, you can by the Versa Link from Tethrd - https://tethrdnation.com/product/versalinks/

    Platform Attachment

Is anyone using Amsteel daisy chain to attach your platform? Any tricks to making it tight? I am running the Seeker platform and want to ditch the buckle straps but am struggling getting it tight enough. Thanks in advance!

    Pack Recommendation

Hey Saddle Hunters - I have 2 questions for those who are more in the know than I am: 1 - What is your recommended pack for carrying a platform (Cruzr Seeker) and sticks (4 Hawk Minis)? I ordered the Badlands Pursuit (I know G2 does not like it), but wanted to hear other options under $200. 2...

    Saddle for bigger dude?

Cruzr XC is the only saddle I have tried (5'11" / 250lbs) - very comfortable and I just purchased my own last weekend.

    Ropes

Thank you! Yes, I plan on spending a lot of time in the tree prior to the season in order to increase my comfort level. The 2nd tether is a great idea as well. Being new, the concept of trusting an 8mm rope at height is daunting, but I realize they are rated for far more than I would ever...

    Ropes

Hey saddle hunters. I finally purchased my 1st saddle and landed on the Cruzr XC which is still in transit. However, I have 2 questions regarding ropes: 1. Does anyone climb using the tether vs the lineman rope (other than the one stickers)? It seems like this would be safer in the event of a...

    North Carolina Saddle Hunting

One other question. Has anyone looked at using a climbing harness like the Xben Pro as their saddle? Seems they are ~1/3 the price and seem to offer all the same benefits. However, since I've never done this before, I may be missing something important.

    North Carolina Saddle Hunting

I am brand new to this forum and have been researching hunting saddles. I currently use a combination of fixed stands (lockon and ladder) as well as a Summit Viper climber. Is there anywhere in the Charlotte area where you can try out a saddle? Prior to dropping several hundred $$, I would...
