    Bino harness

https://vortexoptics.com/vortex-glasspack-pro-binocular-harness+vx_accessory_size-S Very happy with the NEW Vortex glasspack bino/range finder harness that came out right at the start of the season this year. It open away from you, is quiet, and seems to be more compact than the old standard...

    Tethrd Predator CFX

Huh, another reason I'll stick with my Predator XL!

    Tethrd Predator CFX

Meh. I'm not saying it's not good (or not bad) - But I really don't see why it would be any better then my Predator XL. Maybe a bit more quiet from a bare makeup of the type of materials used - but nothing that my paracord/cobra wrap job didn't fix.

    Tethrd Predator CFX

Speaking of cold feet - When I get into my Predator XL, I take off my boots - hang them, and then put on my arctic shield "slippaz"...

Interested in one sticking. - except the descending part.

Hey gang, I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube and reading threads in here regarding one sticking. I’m understanding a lot of the different methods. Personally - I’d like to use my Skeletor stick(s) with an aider on it to climb up. It seems that one descent - that repelling is the favorite...

Ah I see. Yeah that would make me a littler nervous. But cool tender none the less. This thread is great. Multiple different ways to achieve what everyone wants when climbing a tree!

    Ditch the Ropeman

Decided to get out the saddle and climbing stuff and tinker. Copied the OP and attached a nylon spacer to act as a "Ropeman 1" or as a prusik tender.

    New Gear for 2023, Go!

I don’t mean to be a square or anything… some of this stuff is cool, but I don’t think I’ll be upgrading or buying anything new to change my setup. I’m not saying that others shouldn’t pursue these new items especially if money is a non issue, but a lot of this is sorta “meh” to me It’s kind of...

    New Gear for 2023, Go!

I don't think the color really matters. Skeletors, One sticks, lone wolf... lots of brown.

    Tethrd pack

Hey no offense taken on my end. I guess from a public land hunter standpoint (especially here in WI) - I still want to remain a minimalist. My pack is primarily used as a vehicle to carry my sticks and platform. During a cold spell when I’m hunting - I don’t dress separate and layer up at the...

    Tethrd pack

After watching this video (I was already a little "meh" on the pack just from a lack of packing efficiency with sticks/platform which is one of the main things I need a pack), I'm still not into it and likely will not pursue this. It does look cool, and well made... Also being a public land...
