    Right handed 3 o'clock shot

I would agree that you need more rope to take a 3 o’clock shot, whether with a platform or ROS (my primary but I’ve practiced on both). I tend to be between a lean and a sit with my legs fully extended so that when I spin around the backside of tree I am still leaning at a comfortable angle. And...

    360 camera? Results?

Never tried the go pro head mount, but I did play with the insta 360 this year during turkey season. I found it easier to film the hunt but you have to edit the footage to be able to send a framed shot to a friend. I ended up returning mine simply because I hated spending so much time trying to...

Thanks for all the info, I have access to commercial sewing equipment so I'll make myself a double loop. BowhunterXC in the photo of your setup I notice you have ropeman instead of a safeguard, how are you rappelling? Rappelling seems like a fast and fun way out of the tree with out sacrificing...

One stick vs. 2 tether climbing

I tried 2TC with a single foot loop, but found it hard balancing on one foot; is there a link to a double loop or are they mostly DIY?

One stick vs. 2 tether climbing

I have been saddle hunting for three years now, but I have never experimented with different climbing methods. I am now looking into TTC, but was wondering how it compared to one sticking? Both setups would cut at least five pounds off my pack weight, but I also want simplicity, anyone ever...
