    How sensitive are your deer?

I haven't had that experience to that extent. In fact I had them pegged as more sensitive than I have seen but it all depends how you push them out/scare them and when and where. If they never know what you were isn't as big of a deal as them nailing your scent and shadow/outline in your stand...

    Hodag Licking Stick?

Anyone use one? What results did you have? Have heard really good things about them but just a limited number of people. Any other mock scrape setups work better than others for y’all?

Folding saw? Silky Pocketboy Outback vs Bahco Laplander

130 or the 170? This is the main thing holding me back on the pocketboy outback it is the 170 and not sure if that is too big for what I want to carry on my saddle but I was the coated blade 1 for the durability and 2 for the decreased reflection it has compared to the plain blade.

Folding saw? Silky Pocketboy Outback vs Bahco Laplander

I have a cheapy hme or hunter specilaty folding saw that is good but very flimsy and takes forever to cut anything over 3+ inch thick. Looking at a newer nicer saw and have narrowed it down to either a bahco laplander or a silky pocketboy outback due to both have coated blades. Any experience...

    Decoys in early season?

Both but mainly after bucks right now. Everyone that has replied here or on another forum I am on has said the same thing about the does reacting. I am a duck hunter too so I thought it might work as a confidence decoy in a way that puts them at ease to know another deer is in there and is not...

    Decoys in early season?

Any of y’all with decoy experience use them in early season? I have a new Montana decoy company Trixie doe decoy that I got mainly for the rut but contemplating using it early season but can’t find much solid info on using decoys early. Any experience with this or tips?

Deer at dawn- to climb or not?

I have a similar situation where I normally hunt. With a gun I wait until shooting light to walk out just so if I do bump them I can get a shot. Not normally the case with a bow but I have even done that with a bow if I knew there was a good chance I would see some and could put a stalk on them.

What do yall think this buck would score?

Here are a few of him from my spotter about 2 weeks ago.

What do yall think this buck would score?

Oh trust me I'm ready for the1st to get here. Watching him every evening on trail cameras isnt making it any easier to be patient. Luckily weather stays pretty steady so that is one less thing to cause the pattern to change.

What do yall think this buck would score?

Taken off a $30 muddy camera too. That camera on that fence row has taken some of the coolest pictures.

What do yall think this buck would score?

This was him last year. I shot another one of our shooters about 5 minutes before he came out and gave me a shot and that was my second and last buck tag I had just used...

What do yall think this buck would score?

I am nearly certain on his age class. 99% sure he is a either a 4 1/2 yr old or 5 1/2 yr old because I have seen him on camera for 3 years now since we noticed him standing out form the rest of the crowd. And year one he was a young buck between 1 1/2- 2 1/2. He was a stud last year but has put...

What do yall think this buck would score?

I feel like he will be in that 145 range maybe but either way I just hope he keeps his pattern going so I get a chance to put a tape to him.

What do yall think this buck would score?

Great buck and yeah pic to pic they look similar so hopefully I get a chance to put a real tape to him to see.

What do yall think this buck would score?

Thats the way I am. Im horrible with main beam length but based off of pics I'm thinking a 10" g2, 8" g3, 4" g4, 4" brow tines, around a 20" spread? with those and average 10 pt main beam it is scoring high 150's-160's but just looking at them I always guess low.

What do yall think this buck would score?

Thank you and fairly rare. You see lots of 130"+ 8 pts but not a 150"+ buck very often. Hoping he stays on this pattern for another week and a half...

What do yall think this buck would score?

Have a good buck on camera that I will try my best to take no matter the score but curious what yall think he will go. Took a 153" off the same property a few years ago but he was a non typical 9 so hard to compare the two for a score but I feel like this buck is about the same size or maybe a...

How many people actually use a bino chest rig?

Yes, Kuiu has a good harness for this too. I use the Sitka Mountain Harness, but several other companies have good ones too (marsupial gear, FHF, badlands, etc.)

How do you deploy you platform?

Still new to this but it has worked for me so far. I made some double loop holders from paracord with just big enough loops to fit over the versabutton easily that way I can clip them to my saddles molle loops with a s biner and I can attach my extra steps or my platform to my self that way as I...
