Light wind proof outer layer- need recommendation.

Rivers west has a lightweight jacket that is waterproof and is fleece on the outside, it has pit vents and breathes well, I wear mine from 50°F and down and love it! Better yet it comes with a 10 warranty.

    Carrying Wild Edge steps

I took a rubber bow sling that I got from speciality outdoor products and attached it to my wild edge bag and it works great! The rubber absorbs some of the weight and the bag feels a lot lighter.

Very nice, I believe I saw pictures on this sight that looked like a shelf that you would use in your house for a platform and the wood looked fairly heavy.

    Making sausage

Con Yeager Spice Company sales a great blueberry maple sausage mix, they use a maple powder, you can't get enough maple flavor using syrup. Salt is your most important ingredient! Use 1 to 2 percent by weight, try about .15 or 21/2 ounces per 10 lb.

My brother has shot 3 bears in Pa. And it seem that the ones shot in cold weather were very good, one was shot in warm weather and was rancid, the key is to get them cooked down quick, that hide and several inches of fat 4 to 8 inches really hold the heat in for a long time, we skin them as soon...

I couldn't shoot consistent for years! Had a lot of good shooters try to help me but after shooting for a while I would start throwing arrows to the left. I bought and anchor sight (which is a lot larger than the IQ sight) and discovered that after I warmed up I would start to stretch out some...
