You know I have never thought about the fact that some may be able to kill more than one deer a year. In PA, it's one buck a year, but you can get 3 doe tags every year. You can also get unlimited special reg tags in wmu 2b, as well as 2 additional DMAP tags in each of the deer management zones! In WV it's a three buck a year limit and unlimited doe tags in certain areas. Plus if you live in "urban hunt zones", you can kill an additional 7 deer, harvesting a doe first, but allows for 2 of the seven to be bucks....
I honestly can't imagine only being legally able to kill one a year, 4 deer give my family all of the red meat we need until the next hunting season.
I've shot at least 3 for the past 5 seasons. This past year I began hunting in WV as well and harvested 2 bucks and a doe, and in pa a buck and 2 does. I made a deal with my wife a while back that I'd donate the first deer of the year every year, to hunters feeding the hungry. So I get to be in the woods quite a bit, God bless yall that legally can't shoot more than one....
