Just so happens that there was a private message from red to inform me that he forgot to add me to the trad group. Not two minutes later I hear that my lovely state of Delaware may be going to year 'round crop damage like our neighbor MD does in certain counties. Got off the phone with the Senator (executor of property I hunt) who described the situation and how he watched 30 last night......told him I start shwackin' tomorrow. I'll carry the stick bows occasionally and sort out the mess later but I'm fletching arrows right now cause the five on the Mathews may not last long.

Hey team #2, wanna visit Delaware?
My father just retired and will be splitting his time between DE and NJ. We just started scouting some public land down there. I don't know if I'll make it down to hunt this year or not but maybe we can meet up and shoot some does sometime in the future.

Sounds good. I'm easy to find. We have some amazing public land here and not a huge amount of hunters. I can put you on a fast track. Besides that, the farm I hunt is going through some changes. The owner passed away but left it to the family who has been working on cleaning things up. We even have a 12x24 "cabin" going up. Now it's about controlling the population. I saw my third piebald there last week......inbreeding.

Is there a post of the rules. Will a second buck count for five points like a doe. We don't all live in Delaware
and I will only get two bow tags. I may be able to get two gun tags but I don't know yet. If I do then this won't matter for me but it might for others

I start tomorrow, super excited, first hunt out of the saddle, I'm in northern VA part of a park population control, so I can only take does until Oct. My folks have some land in PA that I will be hunting, can't wait!

Sounds great! We'll be in touch at some point for sure! Especially if we can hunt them year round for the crop damage. We can ONLY hunt them from September until February up here LOL.

I changed the rule, I posted it when I posted all the entrants. I will change it in the rules thread but yes a second buck will count for 5 points. That was a good suggestion, thank you.
