Only about 4 hours for me, but it’s only Nutterbuster. I can think of a million better things to do with my time. Have you ever listen to this guy ramble? His introduction will end the next morning! Lol

Sorry guys, canoe trip from hell Sunday knocked me on my a$$ yesterday. If you're curious, Perdido River from 61 to Gravel Landing is NOT navigable unless you're a fish or a bird.

There's a survey at the top of this thread that I'm using as an easy way to keep a headcount. If you're coming and havent answered "yes" to the survey, please do so so I have an idea of what I have to feed.

If folks are camping let me know and I'll I'll camp with ya. It's only 15 minutes from my house. The campsite is 100% primitive. No water or power, but it does have fire pits and it's free. You will need a WMA license and the paper permit map on you to be legal. There's a Dollar General, a gas station, and the Stagecoach Cafe 15 minutes south of the campsite, so if you forget a toothbrush or whatever you don't have to go far for supplies.

As far as hunting, hogs, squirrels, and rabbits are in season. The WMA is 99% flooded, but there are a few places where you can still walk in and have good odds. Floods actually help because they concentrate hogs. If you're camping on the upper delta campground, you can access the lower delta, Jacinto Port, and Splinter Hill Complex with about a 45 minute drive. You'll need a WMA permit and the relevant paper map permit to hunt these areas.

Food will most likely involve some venison burgers, sausage, and/or maybe pulled venison sandwiches. Depends on the numbers.

Please let me know if there are any other questions you have or if there's information I'm leaving out. I'm going to try and beef up the original post and update it with all the appropriate info today.
