2022 Hunting Snacks/food

I don't do all-day sits, but for 4-ish hour sits, peanut butter crackers, jerky, snickers bars, and water are my go-to's. I may add candied bacon to the mix this season for a nice mix of flavor, protein, and sugar.

This is like 1 of those memes....tell me u don't hunt in the south without telling me u don't hunt in the south...... All u guys saying u take chocolate
Chocolate usually does fine if it's in a pack and not on your person. All of it makes it from the factories to the stores in the back of a metal truck. That said, a chocolate bar is the last thing I want on my stomach in the early season. Give me salty snacks and unlimited water.

Same as the bow limbs everybody says will delaminate in the truck.

I can show u some oily stains in some backpacks that'll beg to differ....

The trail mix with little chocolatesis the worst....inside the bags is a delicious melted chocolate granola snack but u better commit if u reach inside...haahah

Whole wheat peanut butter crackers, 20 ounces of coffee, rice crispie treats, and for all day sits I like a bologna sandwich and hearty beef stew on the backpack stove. (I don't cook in the tree). I also stash my stove, water, and folgers singles at the edge of the timber in the event I become thirsty, need a coffee fix, or need to wash the blood off my hands.

Early season: homemade trail mix, grayl geopress water bottle.

Mid season: Lindt 85% dark chocolate, jerky/snack sticks, PB&J sandwich, grayl water bottle.

Late season: Big thermos with half coffee, half hot chocolate.

I have never heard of these honey waffles before. I see my grocery store carries them so I'm going to try one out next time I go.

Central Georgia- early season can get pretty hot. Water, some sort of electrolyte powder if I feel myself dropping off (relocated yankee- I ain't used to it), trail mix, apple, some sort of protein bar.

I normally carry tortilla and PB. Peanut butter crackers, protein bars. Always water and propel powder. Short or long. Never know. I am changing it up this year. Kinda. I won’t walk away from the tortilla and pb. Also keeping the protein bars but I’m adding dehydrated apples and peaches, smoked almonds, fruit leather and still working on. Healthier options that provide the correct nutritional values needed. Still hauling water and propel or wilderness athlete. I do carry a couple packs of gummies and glucose tabs if my sugar starts to drop.

Get the variety pack and u can enjoy this old school favorite
