2022 Hunting Snacks/food

Water for sure , then some cheese crackers.
Bag makes noise so I put ziplock bags.
And of course some Red Man!

Early season: water
Less than full day sits after early season: nothing
Full day sits: water and several pbj or sliced deer sammiches. Unless it's rifle opener the first Saturday after Thanksgiving which gets mandatory leftover turkey sandwiches

Satsumas are ripe by then..... I've been hunting some of these wmas long enough now to be pretty confident in saying that it's hard to get a citrus to grow from a seed u spit onto the ground.....

Honey peanut butter and homemade blueberry jam on soft white made the night before, small coffee in the Yeti. It’s the only time of year I have it. Can’t wait!

By December I usually gotta tuck the Snickers bar in the chest pocket a few layers deep for 15 mins to get it soft enough to bite without chipping a tooth…
We have a tradition of taking a bar of chocolate and I can't tell you how many times i have had to thaw food before being able to eat it. We took slices of pizza one year and frozen pizza isn't great.

peanut butter tortillas, cliff bars and maybe some jerky. All wrapped in paper towels to keep the bag clean and no noise. Then I have something to wipe my nose with or clean my hands off with after gutting.

Blend up dates with cocoa and dump in a bowl pour in some honey, pecans or walnuts and coconut. Mix well and spread on a sheet of wax paper. Place another piece of wax paper on top and shape into a 1/4 thick rectangle. Cut into small bars and store in the freezer. Thank me later.

(Don’t be alarmed by the freezer part as they will remain pliable)
