Thanks for comments. I'm not what you would call a social butterfly, but I'm going to try to talk myself into this and get out of my comfort zone. With that said, is the hunt archery only? I think I read somewhere that center fire isn't allowed.
I've been PMing with @Weldabeast as I am also confused by regs, planning to call Florida fish and game tomorrow since they're closed today and will report back with anything I find out

Most wma is rimfire or archery during small game season....our regulations are confusing

Normal bows,22s, shotguns are legal for sure but I'm not 100% certain on crossbows.

Certain wma allow center-fire but lake George isn't 1 of them

I say save that $5 for the raffle… we have a lot of really good gear to get rid of

I just called and spoke with a Jessica from the Northeast regional office, asked about Lake George WMA, Jessica relayed that crossbows ARE legal to hunt hogs (and other small game) during this small game season. She ALSO said that the crossbow medical hoops to jump through is ONLY to use a crossbow during archery/crossbow season (deer hunting), but that we were all ok to come down and shoot hogs with crossbows as able bodied people.

I didn't get this in writing as it was over the phone but if anyone wants to fact check I called 352-732-1225.

Now for me to figure out if I can make it or not, but if I can it looks like the mini can come try to eat.

That was my understanding as well is that it was only medically necessary during archery. Thanks for clearing that up
