My thoughts are there is a flange on the top of the telescoping post So if the pushbutton were to fail it would still catch on the internal lip. The top is obviously attached with a versa attachment, so there shouldn’t be any issues with the top sleeve.

Sounds like there is a wire connection between the two halves as well. I'd have a cutaway at the show (and on the website) to demonstrate it.

Also, I'd do something to demonstrate transverse strength between the two sections. Could you lay one down and stand on the middle of the stick I wonder?

Good question.
Could you do that with some of the other sticks on the market, Tethrd???

So a serious question is there a really Tethrd GEN 4 sticks coming out? Or is this just sarcasm? Thanks.

No gen 4s. That was someone joking/thinking that “just got lighter” meant a newer version and not on sale at the show.

Maybe someone can get into the construction of these Arsenal Sticks.

What do the innards look like? aka the "redundant proprietary internal safety tether ensures stick will not separate"

They use an Amsteel tether. If I were to guess, I would think the tether is connected from step to step. Pretty clever. The Amsteel will just fold up as you compress the stick back together.

all of that looks pretty freaking sick on first take I wont lie. 3 sticks for 400 hundred bucks though....YIKES

Buy today for $339. That's $10 less than a 3 pack of Gen3 Tetrd One Sticks.

So probably close to the cost of the "Gen4" ONE sticks you can only get at the show, lol.

Cats out of the bag, lol. Nice job.

Any idea what the standoff distance is?

Also, are the sticks 7075?

And how is the cleat attached?

My wallet is lighter, too. Picked up the saddlelite fourth arrow camera arm, a head, an EWO Ultimate One Stick and some stealth strips. Saved some money with show pricing but Oof!

I actually really liked the new spartan forge stuff. You can use promo code "johnny" for 20% off the subscription fee right now. He said the cost of the annual plan will probably go up after the lidar and other new features are released, but you're locked in at current pricing if you get on board beforehand. Not sure I'm a big fan of that business model, feels like the way the mafia would do things so a hard no from me. I'm still very happy with caltopo.
