2024 Gear thread

Apparently people here are the same with all the excitement over who is releasing the latest greatest climber :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

I bought a couple echos on the Black Friday sale. I had to return them. They were of subpar quality. There were voids in the cast and the holes were drilled off. They would not even fold flat. They milled the leveling slot wrong and the leveling slots were too narrow to fit the bolt down. Very disappointing… they aren’t the same company they use to be.

Looks like they are going with the Latitude/Arsenal/One stick/ rope attachment method based on this photo for some weight savings.

Looking at the stand-off design it appears that they will stack flat also. So one stand-off will integrate with the one it is stacked on top of like little stairs so they can flat stack. Just me guessing from one photo though.

I hope they are quiet (ish) because nobody is going to want to tape these.

I’m sure enterprising individuals like G3D and others will come up with holders/attachers/silencers to keep them quiet when packing in and out and while stacked together.

Nice looking stick but it doesn't look like they took away any cues from the 1st gen LWCG stands with their corner radius on the edges of those post attachment points. You go to those lengths with a design as well as have a number of other sets of eyes on it in your development team. How do you miss that as an ME? Keep your hockey tape ready...

I'm not a fan of Stealth Cam but apparently they are releasing a new 360 degree trail cam.
