Those trophy line sticks remind me of catalyst GWBs. The single worst sticks I ever bought
MAGNITE???
Agreed! They are useless.Shouldn’t have got my hopes up with summit. Viper with an adjustable and removable sit bar. 22 pounds with bar, 20 without. 350 pounds weight rating.
I hunt KY public. When I see another hunter with a tree stand. Over 95% of the time it is a Summit climber. You don't have to innovate unless you are forced to by loosing sales.Summit ticks me off..... are they in 1995 still?
I see why Trophyline isnt working with them any more. Why do these companies not at a minimum at least talk to some real hunters before building something like that. No way a public land bowhunter came up with that.
I've got two vipers they are great stands for sure and are the most comfortable thing to hunt in once you're up. But getting in and out with them can be a chore as we all know. I'm surprised people are still buying them with all of the other options and as I say that just yesterday one of my buddies wants to look at buying both of my summits.I hunt KY public. Yeah you hit the nail on the head. That is a sweet feature especially for hybrid saddle hunting.
I don't know but it looks interesting to me. If you want a Hybrid it relocates the cables out of your way. The seat is designed so you can site facing the tree.I see why Trophyline isnt working with them any more. I guess you could remove the seat?I don’t think so. I’d rather be able to flip the seat up and stand with my back to the tree. I think it just gets in the way when maneuvering on the platform, even if it does offer working around the stand. Platform is big enough to just turn and get most shots.
It is unique and may be good on a smaller platform.
They put the f'ing cables in the way of 99% of positioning for any shot. I honsetly can not remember ever taking a shot from a platform, climber or lock-on that one foot wasnt exactly where they put the cables. I didnt thing the butt out tool could be topped but they proved me wrong.I don't know but it looks interesting to me. If you want a Hybrid it relocates the cables out of your way. Two strap attachment points.
Other then the weight. What don't you like?
I never got to the weight. I will have to go back and see what that is.I don't know but it looks interesting to me. If you want a Hybrid it relocates the cables out of your way. The seat is designed so you can site facing the tree.

And the way it is shaped, you will have a hard time getting solid footing when using the sides of the platform. They put the f'ing cables in the way of 99% of positioning for any shot. Idk man, everyone in the south who hunts that I’ve met or know from the past 10 years or so owns or has owned at least 1 summit. Many of them own several. Several of my buddies still hunt out of open shots and swear by them. They sell tons of them, and they don’t last long in any local classifieds. I know sticks and hang ons are used some in the south but it seems that climbers still rule the roost at least in my parts of Alabama. Obviously my experience is limited but I’m not being hyperbolic when I say everyone I know uses a summit. They’re tried and true, easy to use, light enough, and extremely comfy. Yes they’re bulky and loud going through thick stuff but that doesn’t seem to keep them from killing deer consistently.Don’t say I didn’t warn you. It just boggles my mind that they refuse to adapt to the current market demands. Yes, they make a comfortable climber, but that’s all they do. I loved my Viper when I was a climber guy. I would be a customer if they made the gear I want.
