No, I don’t believe LWCG ever sold through Cabela’s. Closest thing to that is ordering through @enkriss.

Still, they were at ATA in 2020 and 2022 for sure.

Cabelas did at least before the BPS merger. I worked there about 10 years ago and we sold the hand climber and sit and climb. I can’t remember if there were other product.

Does @enkriss have a table at ATA? :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

You guys ripping on Enkriss. I'm sure he's saved plenty of people on here much wasted time and $ buying/reselling sh!t that just doesn't work. He should have a Patreon account to help cover some of his time and effort for the reviews and feedback. No joke. Would be worth a few bucks to me.

If he's bought/tried something and didn't like it, theres a high percentage chance that I won't either. Based upon what I know to have been resold...

I can see the Amsteel Guy or somebody come out with a better stick attachment for the trophyline sticks. I guess Tethrd has a patent on their dyna lock cleat attachment .

1. Enkriss hasn’t saved me a dime, lol. Trust me.
2. We’re not ripping on Enkriss. It’s good natured. There’s a badge of honor he wears, and deserves. He’s a fun persona to encourage through well intentioned humor.
3. Enkriss can dish it as much as he can take it when the lines get taught, I think.

Maybe I’ve got it all wrong. I appreciate your speaking up. I’m open to the conversation and answer PM, but think the room has been read wrong on this.

I bought LW through Gander Mountain too. LWCG is separate from LW.

It’s neither here nor there, the question was is LWCG at ATA and the answer seems to be no, despite them having attended several times in the past hand full of years.

As things progress it seems with social media ATA isn’t the end all be all of product announcements.

Wonder if they’ve got anything cooking is all.

2024 Gear thread, not white knight thread. Ain’t gotta defend someone for a joke or defend the joke. We’re adults, if someone has an issue they’ll say it or the high paid mods will redirect or delete. I can’t waste money on gear if y’all bicker.

Yeah, I get that and know that he's a big boy who can fend for himself.

But, I've seen the ribbing here, as well as on AT. Things a little more light hearted here than there and from the short time I've been here I find this a smaller, more closely knit group.

There are several here I value opinions of. Yours also being one of them.

I'm likely to want to try something new myself anyway, but if I'm the fence about something of interest, he'd probably be the first guy I'd look to for feedback. He's likely been there, done that already, and with exception of maybe The Fix I've been onboard with his same gear likes/dislikes.

I could see things reaching a point of clamming up and giving no opinions. You'll know when you see it in the classifieds when something doesn't work out.

You’re just wrong on a bunch of levels in my opinion. At any rate this isn’t the spot for whatever it is you are doing. 2024 gear thread. Send him a PM, let the rest of us look at new gear we’re convinced will get us more deers.

Just looked at the buck decoy.
$649.99 on their site, and weighs 35 pounds. Only the ears and horns detach.
It's a beautiful decoy but I'll be sticking with my Montanas.

I agree with that decision.

I do have one of his Tom decoys and it has worked great for me, but it’s a pain to haul around so I use it sparingly.

He is a fantastic sculptor and former fish taxidermist who trained under a legend. And his proprietary material can take a beating.

But I wouldn’t know what to do with a 35lb decoy if one showed up at my doorstep for free.

If it had an insert and doubled as a 3D target, I might be able to wrap my head around it.
