If they only hunt the local woods and never pack a critter out, I would agree it is on the excessive side for a piece of gear. If a guy also does backpack hunts and/or packs critters out rather than dragging, it is a highly valuable tool worth saving for if need be. That comment is more about owning a quality frame pack than the new kifaru manimal. That new pack to me is basically a Stryker xl with a different zipper and a bigger sherman pocket. Since I already have a Stryker/Sherman combo, it doesnt move the needle for me.

Yea I am not spending $875 on whitetail pack. That walk back to truck to get my hawk crawler or jet sled works just fine if I am not dragging.

I got mine for $100 shipped years ago from Mack’s prairie wings. They really jacked the price up ay?
I paid $200 just last year but got mine from Mack's or Midway. Can't recall which but so far I've used it twice and I'm loving it.
They're only $120 cheaper on Amazon lol.

Check out the one they modeled theirs after. I think it’s sofirn. It’s like $20. Used it hard for two years and have had absolutely zero problems out of it.Peax head light.
