I don’t think they ever offered packs before. I bought a hoody from them two years ago and so I was on their mail list. It seems like more packs are coming out with the rubberized zippers……. I’m not sure I like them as much as a regular ole beefy zipper system. If I’m concerned about that kind of water infiltration into my pack I’m either not hunting that day or using a rain fly cover over the entire pack.

Yeah, I do see that these are recently introduced for pre-sale. The pre-sale pricing and pack components being on sale too, separate of the bundle threw me off. They‘ve also been selling the Escape Pack that Cruzr designed (in their camo).

The Pioneer pack looks like it would functionally work well for saddlehunting for those who don’t like a frame pack.

Separate of the zippers, it has a built in rain fly, according to the specs.

So these zippers seem pretty beefy, on preliminary inspection.

I'm not a big bino guy as most places I hunt have less than 150yds visibility and I don't 3D shoot much anymore. But for anyone in the mkt for a harness this one has some pretty neat features. (Save for maybe the Cordura being a little noisy.)
