2024 Unofficial Trad Team Thread

Gonna have to go back in am. Not looking good. Shot was high and I fully expected her to fall in a pile screaming, I’m pretty sure I slipped it just under her spine, muscle blood is all it appears to be on the arrow. Found the arrow 46 yards from the shot sight. First contact with traditional. Hopeful to find her but not counting on it.

May the force be with you!

If it was under the spine, you got lungs. Could be a tough track though. Over the spine is just a flesh wound and she should heal up fine most of the time. Good luck on the track, hope you find her.

Ya'll didn't need me to fill out the team right? Just checking. I didn't want to be inadvertently slacking, lol.

You already slacking, chip shootin does with a compound. Man, put that thing up and get your real bows out. :p
I take 'em any way I can get 'em, lol. I need to stack a few to pull my weight in the regular contest, then I can relax and get out the longbow. Plus. I still don't know if I'm even on this trad team.

Everyone is on the trad team; they just don't know it yet. I'm still using my compound bow until I get the monkey off my back with getting my first archery buck. Then anything without spots get a good consideration.

Consideration, is that what you call a razor sharp broadhead? I need to remember that!!! I have some in mind that need consideration.

Hey, one man's spotless fawn is another man's P&Y buck. If you are willing to send me some of those mythical homemade broadheads that I hear great things about, you can call it whatever you want Mr. :kissing:
