@Buckshot1822
Thank you.
Thank you.
I guess I question their claims from experience with other cords, and reading many claims that a two eyed hitch needs to be smaller than the host rope, especially if it’s technora on technora.
I just tried it using the TRC on itself and it just slid, added a wrap and it still slid. It will grab it the hitch is
reset each time it’s advanced, but I don’t consider that as acceptable for life support.
Some smaller diameter cord splices

And using just a cord, no preformed eyes, with stopper knot, which can be in front or back

I received my 7mm VT mentioned above... I ordered from amazon. I tied a quick schwabish on oplux and it appeared to hold well. I did not have much time, I will follow up. Thanks for the suggestion @Buckshot1822 definitely promising.
Pros:
Holds well (so far, I will test many more times), plenty of strength and no carabiner termination knots necessary. Seems to tend okay. Great quality
Cons:
Cost approx $30 per hitch cord, not terrible when you factor in the sewn splices.
The length of the cord is longer than is ideal for me. In order to keep my legs short enough I had a 5 over 2. This may effect how this hitch tends after loading with full body weight. Total length is 32in, I'm thinking I want 24in or 26in. I will need to learn to trust it as I know in my head the hitch cords should typically be 70-80% in relation to the main line.
So its kind of what I've been looking for. I'm glad you pushed your suggestion.
Like anything else test throughly at ground level.

Any one add a stopper knot after the scaffold or am I just wasting rope?
