I appreciate you guys behind honest with us but I thought they were being boxed up and ready to ship? Now you are waiting on the final production saddle to be made and shipped. I feel like the pre-orders will not be shipping until end of August. That is cutting it real close for me to get it and test a few things out. Looks like I might be in my lone wolf Oct 1st this year intead of the mantis....

I agree. It’s been waiting on testing but now we’re waiting on them to be manufactured. Feel little let down. I’m glad to tested so high but the mid July date was a major miscalculation.
 
30 days from originally anticipated ship date is not bad at all for a brand new product from a start up company. I don’t even look at these as miscalculations, though maybe they were overly optimistic calculations. I wonder if the people being so critical truly appreciate how many things have to fall into place to bring a product to market. I suspect they really don’t know. And with small businesses with short supply chains all it takes is one wrench thrown into the works to derail things. It’s not like there are tier 2 or 3 suppliers tethrd can fall back on here to make sure the supply chain isn’t compromised.

Honestly you people are lucky you’re getting them so shortly after being announced (back in what, may?). I’m kind of getting impatient with the impatience here.

I don't think they had started production manufacturing in case they needed to make some changes based on test results of the saddle. To me it makes total sense they are doing things in the order they are doing them - but just like everyone else I want my saddle yesterday lol ....

My view is we are going to get the best saddle ever manufactured up to this point in time and I'm going to be patient cause I think it's going to be well worth the wait.
 
When will I receive my gear?
We're taking delivery of inventory just as soon as our manufacturers pull it off the assembly line. If you ordered before mid-June, you will be in the first batch of shipments. We expect for most of you to receive your items by mid-August. If you ordered after mid-June we expect most of you to receive your items by the end of August. Based on our supply chain, we expect to be caught up on orders by the end of July.

I understand and sorry if I'm coming off as a di%-. I appreciate everything they have done but just feel a little mislead that's all. I know they are working hard to get it done but just shoudnt have annouced shipping dates until all of this was finalized. Anyway thank you tetherd for all that you have done and I'm sure it will be great once we all get it.
 
Excellent work fellas!

Projecting lead time on any manufactured item is tough. I feel like you have done a phenomenal job at getting a company started and a product to market in record time. Most companies struggle with just the first task. Says a lot about the people involved with this organization. Keep up the good work!!
