We have big deer here, had a 180” eating acorns in my yard before the season opened. The neighbor killed him opening day of rifle season.Definitely sounds like it! The biggest one that’s been killed where I hunt was 144”, and that was 10 years ago
Hey bud have you tried to get a replacement pin from the bow manufacturer just saying they might be able to help you with your problem good luck with your future hunts!Well this season has been a tough one so far. Between wounding what would’ve been my first bow buck, and then having a doe duck my arrow I was frustrated enough. But I decided I would stick with the bow and try to get another chance. I bought some new arrows, with heavier heads to help quiet the bow down a little, and to increase penetration. Started to sight them in today and they were shooting great. When I decided to move the target to 30 yards, the arrow was low. WAY low. I figured something had happened but didn’t know what until I pulled back the bow for another shot. The bow wouldn’t draw all the way back. Turns out, a pin that helps hold my draw length module has disappeared, so now I’m waiting to hear if my bow shop can find a replacement module. If not, guess I’ll be buying a new bow. Definitely my worst deer season so far
Dropped it off at my local archery shop so they would order the part and fix it for me, unfortunately they’re pretty backed up right nowHey bud have you tried to get a replacement pin from the bow manufacturer just saying they might be able to help you with your problem good luck with your future hunts!
