As if there isn't a 20 page thread of people talking about Tethrd estimates weren't being met and phone calls/emails not being answered.

Seriously... There seems to be, in every product/hobby, an odd amount of tribalism behind everything. I'm guilty of it myself sometimes. Hang out with me enough and you'll find I have a soft spot for HK handguns, for example.

But it's silly. They're not paying you to promote them (heck, you're paying them). You're not getting out of it. If you find something that works for you, awesome. No need to go around and poop (almost literally in this case) on other products that you don't own.

Tethrd makes an awesome lightweight saddle. They're made of people from this community. Even cooler. But they're having just as much of a hard time keeping up with the social media fueled explosion of saddle hunting.

Why did I choose Aerohunter? I can call a number, and Debbie (or some other equally friendly person) will pick up and bend over backwards to make sure I'm happy. They'll do all sorts of things that makes you feel like you're dealing with family and not some faceless corporation. And, as someone who is involved in engineering safety equipment, I appreciate the in house manufacturing and long history of making safety products. Product specifically, the Flex has enough material to caress my fat ass. And I don't care if it looks ugly. No one should be seeing it in the first place, and I'm not a particularly attractive fellow anyways.

In the end, I seem to be saying this in a few posts, but figure out what works for you, buy it, and be happy.
 
Just adding my two cents. No need for the sensitivity - we’re all bow hunters.
 
Called today...tried getting order split to expedite shipping. They're waiting on rope it sounds like. I tried to switch to webbing bridge but it wouldn't have changed my week of 10/21 shipping date. Maybe I'll get it before rut here in Wisco. Stephanie was great on the phone...very nice.

I called as well and they could not be nicer. My gripe is that for my order they were first waiting on the predator rope which they got, and now they are apparently waiting on prusik rope. I get waiting on the predator, but is the rope they use for the prusik so unique that they cannot find an alternate supplier?
 
Got mine on Friday. First sit was today. Found the sweet spot and woke up at 20 feet. The sound of nature minus screaming/screaching kids is wonderful.

My estimated ship date was September 27th. I received an email September 3 advising they were waiting on the rope which was expected Sept 20 so a delay is likely. I called on the 27th and was told they have the Predator rope and my Kestrel flex is ready to go except for the prusik rope which is still back-ordered. Up to three weeks more for the prusik rope to arrive.

Where are you guys getting an exact ship date from?
I was just told around the end of October or beginning of Nov when I ordered on Sept 10.
 
I just called today to see if they would ship my saddle, and then the tether and linemens belt when they became available. Debbie said that wouldn't be a problem, but when she went to see if that would bump up the ship date on my flex she found that instead of shipping Oct. 18th wont be shipping till Nov. 8th....
 
It sounds like I may not get my saddle until late November... I really hope the original estimation that they gave me is close.

Hubby11 ordered Jul 12 and won't get it until Oct 15ish
ericland7 ordered Aug 6 and won't get it until Nov 8th.
I ordered Sept 10 so that would put my delivery in early Dec. (a full month past when they originally told me)

I guess I could call for a shipping update to check what they say now.

I asked for the same thing....but they didn't bump back my ship date 3 weeks. What order # are you?
