today marks 11 weeks for me. It sounded like there was some potential that my saddle might ship out this week or the next. I asked to ship mine without the ropes as well if they weren't available.
 
Anyone get shipping notifications? Their Facebook showed that they shipped out a pretty good size order

I did not. My order # is 6723 though so i think itll be a while. Not sure what order numbers were shipped but i saw their fb post this morning.

I just received an email of shipment of my order today. My town was not listed on their Facebook post of yesterday.

Details: order 5555, Kestrel Flex, size 2, rope bridge, Predator camo. Ordered July 21, 2019. Backordered July 31, 2019 with a target ship date of Oct 4. Shipped October 25, 2019.

I can't wait to try it out! I kinda feel like I've been cheating here on Saddlehunter.com when I haven't had a saddle!
 
Just out of curiosity I reached out and asked them via email if the fact that my order had a linemans and tether would be delaying the delivery of my saddle and back strap and the response I got was as follows

At this point I am estimating your order to ship around the end of December to beginning of January. I hope to have a better idea within about 2 weeks. I show that you ordered the Flex Kit with a sewn on web bridge. If you did not want the ropes, I can remove them from your order and refund you the cost. That would not move your ship date up, but it might keep your order from having further delays due to rope back orders..



Please let me know how you would like to proceed..

Soo with that being said I email them back today and did end up canceling the rope half of my order and was refunded that portion almost immediately. If alll goes as planned I should be able to get 4 weeks of hunting in with the saddle before seasons end. Waiting stinks but that’s my up side and I’ll take it.

Received my Flex last Saturday...ordered July 31st.....don't remember the order number.

I'm really starting to like this thing. I have a slight case of scoliosis and was worried this might not work very well for me. I think it actually helps! :cool:

I cant give you input based off of experience but my reviews and info that I've gathered during research, pushed me to the kestrel flex. Im (hopefully obviously) a female and i have a little bit of curves so i like that it gives a little extra fabric to hold my hips/thighs. The bigger guys have said that the flex helped with hip pinch so i figured id go along with the bigger guys since i have hips.

Im not a 'save every ounce' type of hunter so im ok with the little bit of extra weight of the flex compared to other saddles. Ive heard nothing but great things about the flex for colder weather and since im in PA, thats huge for me.

I think you made the right choice. My wife has a little bit of curves and she's tried on the mantis, kite, and flex. Flex was the most comfortable for her.
