All I did was email them a few pics and Debbie set up a UPS front door pickup. All I had to do was put it in a box and provide her the box measurements. I should have my new one in a week or so.

since [mention]tntrker [/mention] would not disclose what the recent issue is, can you share what it is? I have a flex on order. It has been delayed (which I am fine with, no issues here). That said, I would like a heads up so I can check my flex when it comes in.

Yours won’t have the issue
The old style had a black rubberized spray on coating that would’ve been great in theory but didn’t wear well over time, so....the revised model has another layer of cordura (black) on the inside of the saddle which is the part you won’t see as your butt will be touching that surface
You will love it

So you’re confirming the problem with @tntrker ‘s saddle was that it was the known old model rubber fabric issue?

Can’t speak to his individual issue
I can however speak to the know issue that they experienced (including my personal saddle)
That is the only issue that’s been brought to any of our attention to this point.
Furthermore I do not wish to go back and forth with you as we’ve done over other subjects in the past

I only asked because you told someone else that their saddle won’t have the issue. It just sounded like you were saying that their saddle wouldn’t have the issue that the other guys had. So I was asking if you in fact talked to OP about his issue (you confirmed you didn’t). As someone who is trying to decide which model to buy (already had a kestrel) I was curious about the issue.

That said I have no more questions for you @Squatch and if I do I’ll take it to the vendor section as is appropriate.

Debbie replied to an email last night and said mine was on the schedule to go out today but with them dealing with covid it will likely be next week. You may be on this weeks list since you are ahead of me by a week.
 
Serendipity, my kestrel flex has been delivered today. Should have it by next Friday. Will be a different experience from a sit drag and RCH.

Sit drags are pretty comfy, but I think you will feel much more secure now

Will do. Looking forward to trying something new. I always run a RCH backup to sit drag and fleece. Just testing to see it the “all in one” solution is better for me. Time will tell.

Mine shipped today . Got a tracking number and I checked it and it should be delivered on Monday by 7.00 pm.
