Not really amazing but had a cool encounter with a hawk earlier....taken a break from yard work and this hawk landed in my fence about 15 feet away. It hung around for some time stretching its leg muscles then flew down and caught a lizard and flew off...all within 20 yds of me sitting in my chair20200613_181036.jpg20200613_181021.jpg

I couldn't get any photos due to the low light but my wife and I just watched a Mississippi kite eat a cardinal in a pine on our property.....just convinced her we need another binocular

I absolutely love encounters with birds of prey. I got to witness a Cooper’s hawk a couple years back nail a chickadee mid flight. Super impressive precision

Thats what I feel like when I trip over the ottoman when I am getting a drink in the middle of the night
