Animals caught on camera doing amazing things

The part it don’t show is where the pig gets up and walks away...
That was a small pig but I have seen a sound of 4 hogs (2 large, 1 medium and 1 small) run a Florida black bear clean off for attaching the small pig. One on one the bear should win but there are many times when the pigs have the numbers.
we have bear here, but no pigs (thankfully). Im astonished at the brutality that pig was able to endure and keep standing. there was huge chunks of his neck missing. tough little bastards

Yea some times they run in sounds of 8 or more. Here it’s pretty common for 2 or more together and when one squeals like that, often times, all the others will rush into their rescue. Back when I used lighter arrows and montec G5’s, I shot probably the biggest pig I’ve ever seen (Florida has the second highest wild hog population in the country behind Texas so I’ve seen many) but I shot this pig from ground level broad side (70lbs draw, 32” draw length) I was 17 yards away. Hit him behind the shoulder in what should have been a kill shot. His “shield” stopped my shot 8” in and he ran off squealing and mad. Never could recover him. Some 4 months later a buddy of mine shot one with his 30/30 about 2 miles from where I shot mine. The one he shot was big, he skinned it and it had a piece of arrow shaft healed up and a dang broadhead under the shoulder. The pig weighed 396 lbs. I cannot confirm that it was my pig from the pics he sent me, but I believe it was and I believe pound for pound wild hogs are the toughest animal there is (minus perhaps a wolverine? I heard they are pretty dang tough).

How do u serve good pork butts.....

That gator had an easier time with that pig than the bear did... And this might come off wrong because I am all about hunting for food and survival of the fittest man, but it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if someone had thrown the guy in there for that gator, that was throwing that food to get the pig into that water. Imagine how cool the video would have been if the gator got a hog, then let it go to eat that guy instead? Can you say instant you tube sensation lol

I don't think anyone in the boat quite understood how violent that was going to be. They went from joking about it, to screaming, to silence.

Everybody except the captain.... He knew exactly what was up...
Yes he did and anyone native to swampy areas of Florida, Mississippi, or Louisiana know gators are very aggressive and it’s rarely ever a quick painless death when they are involved. Outside of the pythons that people keep letting into the Everglades, gators are the south’s apex predator

I can only speculate .....I couldn't make out the red sign nailed to the tree but if I had to guess the captain probably runs a sightseeing tour and that land is probably an island that they. Could possibly own....catch hogs on the mainland and release on the island. Feed the hogs at designated spot at certain times....again, all speculation.

I didnt see anything wrong with his actions... Screw those pigs. They shouldn't have been eating water heads marshmallows......I'd pay to go on his tour

I know pigs are invasive and destructive. Lord knows I’ve taken plenty while hunting. Again I am all for nature taking its course. If the gator caught the hog naturally without interference the way the bear in the other video did, I wouldn’t bat an eye but baiting the hogs into the water for gator bait is a little much even for me. Especially because I enjoy being to hunt them and I also believe in quick ethical kills. That wasn’t sporting and there was nothing quick about that. But overall yes hogs are definitely nuisances
